Responsibilities: start up
and process in tools, ensure jobs are running at standard cycle and customers
specifications, set up and troubleshoot sonic welders and hot stamp, automation
and assembly equipment per instruction. Set up tools and material,
calibrate color feeders.

January 2000-June 29,
2001, Mold Setter/Process Technician
Responsibilities: set up an average of 4-7 tools per shift along
with automation. Setup sonic welders, collection tables, hydraulic
core pull units, other support equipment, and troubleshoot PLC's.
Fill out daily process inspection sheets and make necessary changes to
process to insure press is running at standard cycle, coordinate with
QA to insure parts meet customer standards, setup new tools for sampling
and work on automation for new jobs, direct and train alternate mold setters.
Serve as shift supervisor during the absence of the supervisor at which
time I supervised12-15 inspector/packers and 2 material handlers in their
daily tasks and filled out production reports. Assist Maintenance
Dept. during free time.
May 1999-January 2000,
Alternate Mold Setter/Assistant Process Technician
Responsibilities: assist mold setter in daily activities of tool and robot
setup, answer machine alarms, clean and return tools to storage after
run, insure machines
were clean and platens were
rust-free.
March 1996-May 1999,
Lead Material Handler
Responsibilities: train and supervise 6-8 material handlers and alternates,
implement scrap reduction program, insure resin inventory is accurate
and let the materials department know when supplies were low and needed
to be reordered, worked with QA to establish procedures and documentation
for ISO certification, insured that regrind levels were kept low and that
proper ratio was blended back into process. Established a documented
training program for Nypro Georgia material handlers.

and maintain dryers and cans, setup proper resin for product, operate,
clean and maintain granulators, run moisture analysis on resins during
runs, troubleshoot problem with material distribution system, train alternate
material handlers.

Handler in daily activities of resin setup, cleaning of material feed
lines, hoppers and grinders.
