·       Research Assistant: Since October 2000 at The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Rapid City, SD, US. Department of Chemistry. Assisting Dr. Bendler and Dr. Boyles in Synthesis and Characterization of Polycarbonates which is going to be part of my MS thesis.

Projects:
·       Undergrad Project: Degradation of Polymeric Materials guided by Dr. Pathak and Dr. Peshwe at Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
·       Graduate Thesis on Synthesis and Characterization of Polycarbonates under Dr. Bendler and Dr. Boyles at South Dakota Sch. of Mines & Tech., Rapid City, SD, US.

Training: 
·       Four weeks of observational training at the Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela, Orissa, India.
·       20 weeks of ‘on the job training’ at the Madras Refineries Limited, Chennai,
Tamil Nadu, India.

Technical Skills:
·       Operating various NDT equipment such as Ultrasonic flaw & thickness detection, Hydrotest, Magnetic Particle Indication (MPI), Radiography (Interpretation of Radiographs), Dry & Wet paint film thickness, Dye Penetrant Test, etc.
·       Operating knowledge of Scanning Electron Microscope, Transmission Electron Microscope and other Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis Instruments.
·       Preparing Checklist for Boiler Shut Down. Base line data collection for Heat Exchangers, Heaters, Tanks and Spheres for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
·       Familiar with various standards such as American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American Petroleum Institute (API), Tubular Exchangers Manufacturers Association (TEMA), American Society of Testing of Materials (ASTM), British Standards (BS), Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR), Safety of Nucleonic Gauges (By Bhabha Atomic Research Center).
·       Computer skills such as ‘C’ language, MS-Office, MS-Access, AutoCAD, MathCAD.
