World Class manufacturers of engine exhaust and intake valves, and superchargers for the auto industry

 

My responsibilities include:

·        Oversee, coordinate, and direct the plant-wide workforce of up to 200 employees and  Shift Supervisors in CNC machining, cutting; drilling; grinding; heat treating; nitrite and paint coating; inspections; audits; and assembling components

·        Utilizing lean manufacturing techniques in meeting and exceeding scheduled daily goals, i.e.  kanban, FIFO, TQM, SPC, continuous improvement, effective training

·        Just In Time deliveries

·        Scrap reduction

·        Maintaining QS-9000 and ISO 14001 certification and recertification

·        Directing Engineering; Quality; and Maintenance priorities

·        Planning, scheduling changeovers to ensure continuous product flow

·        Cycle time reduction

·        Monitoring inventories to ensure maximized throughput in cell manufacturing of all departments

·        Keeping a safe environment through effective training and safe work habits

·        Powder coat paint operation
