JOB QUALIFICATIONS:                      

Plastics Thermoforming mechanic and setup engineer for an international plastics packaging company.  Maintain and Setup machines from Lyle, Brown, Sencorp high speed pressure former In-lines, Trim Presses, Boilers and Industrial air compressors (Sullair, Ingersoll Rand and Atlas Copco).

Fabrication and modification of parts and operation of manual mill and other machine shop machinery.  Troubleshooting and repair of Toshiba, Veeder Roote and Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).  Troubleshoot and repair of PC controlled machinery. 

Performed inspections and maintenance on conveyor belt and pneumatic feeder systems.  Established and maintained detailed work records on maintenance needed and performed.  Designed and initiated set-up procedures for all specific and unique jobs.  Managed work crews, assigned tasks and monitored progress visually and through status reporting. 

Evaluate and submit performance reports on personnel.  Attended numerous Management/Supervisory training seminars. Spent 20 months in Malaysia as Production Manager/Technical Advisor and 6 months as Swing shift Plant Manager for Pactuco, Inc.  

Mechanically inclined and detail oriented, with a respect for priority setting and completion of tasks.  Positive and compassionate,  with exemplary people skills.

JOB SKILLS:                        

Troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.   Installation and maintenance of pressurized water feed and chiller systems.  Training of personnel on the proper operations and maintenance of production machines.  Over 15 years experience working with PC computer systems both personally and  professionally.  Extensive knowledge of many of the popular software programs such as  E-mail,  Office 97/2000,   WordPerfect  6.1/7/8/9, Excel and  Windows 95/98.  Installation and management of network systems (LAN/WAN) for several small businesses.   Built, upgraded and provided software support for numerous business-run computer systems.   Provided equipment and software training to company personnel.   Able to type 45+  words per minute.
