Work History
1975 to 1980 Various short term positions in electronic service industries
& non technical positions. Equipment services include pinball machines,
photocopiers, televisions, security systems, sound & video systems, refridgeration
(household) small engines.
Sept 1980-July1985 Law & Anderson Ltd. 3822 Sandwich St. Windsor, Ont
Position: Senior apprentice. Duties included building of new dies, die
repair, general machine work, electrical installation & maintenance, machine
repair. Was considered most valuable & versatile employee. Job terminated
due to closing of company. Salary: $12.00/hr.

1985-August 1997 Falcon Tool & Die Ltd. 3238 Marentette Windsor, Ontario
Position: Toolmaker. Duties included die build & repair, in press troubleshooting
& repair of dies, design & build of welding fixtures & small specialised
production machines. Tool welding. Some electrical & machine repair. Left
job in order to open own shop.Salary: Union rate: $21.36/hr.
October 1997-present (company) Technical Services Ontario Position: Owner.
Duties include design & build of small dies, welding & checking fixtures,
TIG/tool welding & specialised welding of all kinds, general machine work
of all kinds, design & build of small specialised machines. R & D/ prototype
automotive components. Shop will be closing due to a critical customer
failure & Ontario''s hostile tax structure. Salary: variable depending
on sales. Best year was $180K
Personal Interests & Additional Skills Personal interests include design
& building of special recreational vehicles including boats, dunebuggies
& hovercraft. I possess electrical/electronic skills at an advanced hobbist
level, as well as basic metalurgical knowledge & some basic chemistry.
I am interested in high voltage experimenting, lasers, & high technology
of all kinds. I am an avid reader of science fiction & have built several
peices of custom toolroom machinery for my shop including heat treat furnace,
hydraulic crane, several belt grinders & polishing machines. I also pursue
fine cabinetry & woodworking as a hobby. I also possess basic drafting
& computer skills, as well as the ability to weld almost anything. My
skillset also includes a good working knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic
equipment. I also possess the ability to operate material handling equipment
such as forklifts, cranes, etc. I am fully conversant with the following
welding processes: GMAW, TGAW, SMAW, Gas, Oxy & Plasma cutting. Brazing
& Soldering. I have also had 1 year training in electric motor diagnosis/repair.
