Title: Production floor Supervisor
McIntire Inc. purchased ADK Pressure Equipment Corp.,
in September of 1995. I was working
for ADK Pressure Equip. Corp. in
California during the buy out. I
was offered to relocate from California to Connecticut as the Production
Supervisor. My responsibilities included setting up the
production lines, training the employees on ADK Systems with McIntire
Inc. systems. The systems we build
are designed to keep underground cables dry for numerous telephone companies. Also included and not limited as the job description
is stated below, for ADK Pressure Equipment Corporation. I am currently responsible for the entire production
floor, production lines, welding, braising, painting department, test
department and the machine shop.

8/11/1993 to 9/1995
ADK is a subsidiary of Joslyn Co. ADK/ADC fills the
need for air and gas dehydration/purification and related pressurization
equipment and services for underground cables for telephone companies. ADK relocated from Colorado to Moorpark, Ca. When I was hired in, my main goal was to set
up the production floor. And assisting
in hiring of employees to fulfill the needs of the production floor. Which all has been successfully completed. Supervisor of the production floor I supervised
between 18-28 employees. I am
fully responsible for meeting the goals of the production floor requirements.
Hiring and training of all employees, assisting in hiring of personnel
for permanent hire, and Temps from agencies as needed.
Test rework, and experience in assembly of pressure fittings, hoses,
Etc…. for air pressure needs. Experience
in wiring point to point and harnessing for electrical assembles, per
blue print requirements. Knowledge
in percussion measuring devises such as micrometers, calipers, Etc…. I
set up all workloads for line workers.
As of 8/94 I have taken on the responsibilities of the braising
dept., paint dept., and taken on the stock room and it’s responsibilities.
Any task that has been given to me I have tackled with great success. I am a member of the Safety Committee, Certified
CPR and First Aid Training. Also
have completed SPC training (statistical process control).

Reason
for Leaving: Company closed its doors, layed-off.
As a Sr. Prototype Assembler, I assisted engineering
in the assembly stages of all new products, Electro/Mechanical. Built all harnesses, cables, Etc… needed to
meet all engineering needs. Member
of the Companies Safety Committee. Also
during this period due to company financial problems, and many reductions
in the workforce, I also remained responsible for Electro/Mechanical assembly
lines, test rework, and any requirements for Customer Service.
From: 12/1985 – 11/1989 Lead/Foreman Production of Electro/Mechanical
Assembly:
Supervised anywhere from 5-20 employees of Mechanical/Electrical
computer assembly lines. Trained
and reviewed employees based on knowledge of assembly work. Ability to read blue prints, meeting the goals
to the production schedules, and assuring that all objectives of the production
floor are achieved. Trained on
Electro/Mechanical workmanship standards and performed the daily kits
required meeting production schedules.
Responding to test rework. Scheduling
and setting up work loads for line workers. Shipping clean up and repair. Assisting in engineering prototype and first
run jobs. Responsible for scheduling
of work assignments and the on time completion of various assemblies. Meeting company goals while maintaining a high
quality product. Engineering assistance
when required.
From: 2/1984-12/1985 Electro/Mechanical Assembler:
Assisted lead assembler in training of department
employees. As well as assembling
mainframe units. Responsible for
test repair and Customer Service repairs, shipping clean up and repairs.
From: 1/1983 – 2/1984: Electro/Mechanical
Assembler:
Assembled mainframe computers from kits delivered
by production control to assembly line.
Assembled all mechanical parts, to complete wiring up, and then
installing into mainframe computer. Experienced
in soldering, board harnessing as well as point-to-point wiring. All assembled
to workmanship standards.
