Developed and invented three new types of proprietary high shear dispersers

Invented and patented a thermo-kinetic compounding machine to process
plastic, either "virgin" or recycled, with fillers such as: rubber, fibers,
and minerals. It is the only machine in the world capable of compounding
co-mingled plastic without pre-separation by types.

for implementing new ideas and methods to improve yields and increase
production without interrupting manufacturing.

Consultant to Premier for the purpose of designing and building prototypes
of: inline blenders, inline dispersers, and continuous resign injection
machines. Improved dispersion mills and mixers. Made many trips to Korea,
Canada, Colombia, China, India, and many U.S. plants as start-up and project
engineer.
FLISTEX MAGNETICS, New Deli, India.
Project Engineer building a new videotape factory. Designed and installed
cryogenic liquid nitrogen system for solvent recovery. Designed and installed
steam system for heating the dryers. Designed and installed tank farm
and solvent handling system. Started up mill room equipment and coating
line.
NATIONAL SOLVENT CORPORATION, Medina, Ohio.
Designed and installed a new mixing and milling system to disperse paint
pigments in water base resigns. The new system was able to affect a $1,600
per day savings plus increase production by a factor of four.

Design and Project Engineer for start-up of two chemical systems in coating
factories for the manufacturing of audiotape. First one begin 1988,
second one begin 1990.

Project Engineer for start-up of computer tape and floppy disc plant including
mill room, formulations, coating line, calendars, curing, and punching.
Supervised start-up of solvent recovery system and trained plant engineers
to operate and maintain all equipment. Designed thin film coating
stations.
QUEMCO INCORPORATED LTD., Barranquilla, Colombia.
Installation and Start-up Engineer for a new plant producing calcium carbonate,
which was sold to and used by the paper manufacturing industries.
TONYANG POLYESTER CORPORATION, Kumi, Korea,Project Engineer for equipment
installation and start-up in a new videotape factory. Primary responsibilities
were mix/mill room, coating line, calendars, and solvent recovery system.
MEDIOS MAGNETICOS, Buenos Aries, Argentina.
Trouble-shooter in their audiotape factory. Started up their videotape
factory. Designed coating line and mill room. Specified equipment, supervised
start-up, and trained operators to run all equipment and systems.
AATEC, LTD., Perth, Australia.
Identified and implemented improvements in mill room, coating line, and
calendars, resulting in: reduced dropouts, increased yields, and improved
product quality.
ACME GROUP of COMPANIES, LTD., Hong Kong. Project Engineer.
Coordinated the initial phases of building videotape and floppy disc factories
in these Chinese cities: Zhu Hai, Shumzhen, Joko, Shontao, and Shanghai.
Specialized in installation and start-up of equipment, trouble-shooting
equipment after start-up, and training Chinese engineers and operators
to run the plant.
MAGNATEK COMPONENTS, INC., Paterson, New Jersey.
Designed equipment, machines, and systems that were installed and used
in magnetic media factories in China, India, Canada, Korea, Argentina,
and England. Was project engineer for installation, start-up, and training
for all equipment in those factories.
GARWARE MAGNETICS, LTD., Bombay, India.
Directed a formulation and process improvement project to raise yields
to an economically suitable level and to restore credibility to a plant
with major problems. This required intense and careful negotiations with
all of the department heads to avoid upsetting or offending the plants
engineers and managers.
SHANGHAI MAGNETICS, Shanghai, China.
Designed mill room, specified equipment, supervised its installation,
trained operators, and started-up the mix processing facility. Developed
videotape formulations with outstanding magnetic properties. Started-up
coating line and calendars. Installed and started-up a vapor incineration
system to prevent solvent vapor emissions into the atmosphere, and to
reclaim solvent to produce heat for the drying ovens.
