required for medical applications. Involved tasks include injection molding,
extrusion and coextrusion of thermoplastic engineering polymers such as
Polyamides (Nylons), Silicones (Liquid Silicone Rubber & HCR), Polyurethanes
etc., selection of compounded polymers for specific applications, leading
role in a TUBITAK project on 'improving balloon catheter qualities by
micro-extrusion process', self assessed project of 'improving kink-resistance
and tensile strength of Polyamide 12 compounds', leading role on in-firm
produced 'DEHUMIDIFIER', leading role in design and manufacturing of the
first hemodialysis catheter in Turkey, imposing and control of EO sterilization
of polymeric parts, designing of extrusion screws and barrels for several
plastics, including nylons and polyurethane grades, additional works on
'parameter analysis of tri-layer extrusion', 'improving kink-resistance
and tensile strength of Polyamide 12 compounds', 'increasing shelf life
of EO sterilized polyamides', 'coextrusion of polyamide compounds', 'pin
& die design for D-type lumen hemodialysis catheters', wrote articles
