Over 18 years experience in Injection Molding and Insert Molding. The last 10 years were as Automotive Sensors Technical Group Leader responsible for keeping 10 molding machine and their auxiliary equipment operating, along with over seeing 25 operators, 4 setup people over three shifts. Presently available and looking for a new and challenging opportunity because company closed up and moved to Mexico. Worked for last employer for almost 24 years. Automotive Sensor Molding Technical Group Leader, 1991 – 2002

Responsible for the operation of three shifts of automotive sensor injection molding consisting of 10 molding machines and 25 employees.  Met production schedules and monitored quality and molding processes.  Maintained inventory on SAP.  Directly accountable to Production Foreman and Focus Factory Manager.

 

·         Trained new setup persons in plastic injection molding and trained operators on molding machines.

·         Implemented automotive sensor molding in Cheshire division expanding line from 1 machine to 10.

·         Leader and member of DQT and CAT teams.

·         Actively participated in transferring of production line to Mexico including training of Mexican employees in Mexico.

·         Implemented new process tooling and machines.

·         Participant in Kaizen Blitz and ISO 9000 implementations.

 

Injection Molder 2 – Set Up

Set up molds, processes and auxiliary equipment.  Monitored quality, production and maintained machinery and tools.  Updated SPC charts.

 

·         Quickly learned to set up many types of molding machines and auxiliary equipment including Turebloods, Arburg, Engels, Reeds, Battenfelds, Novatec, Advantage and Conair.

·         Received awards for Perfect Attendance.

·         Assigned to start up automotive sensor molding area and other new jobs.

·         Flexible, moved from one plant to another, learned all assignments thoroughly without supervision and met all objectives.

Assembler / Operator, 1978 – 1984

Operated multiple machines during assembly of many types of electromechanical motors and component parts.  Processes included spot welding, brazing, riveting, punch presses, and pneumatic assembly equipment.
