n Responsible for managing all of the Quality Assurance
functions. These include but were
not limited to, review and final acceptance of all MRB decisions. Review of all C/A and evaluation of their
effectiveness. Perform and monitor
internal audits to maintain compliance to our ISO 9000 & QS 9000 procedures
and instructions. Perform audits
of potential new vendors and monitor the existing vendor’s performance.
Maintained the Approved Vendor Listing.
Provided assistance to our Sales Department with customer requirements
and, as necessary, interfaced with the customers.
Served on the core team for the QS 9000 implementation efforts,
this included all of the PPAP documentation.
Served as a team leader for two of our ISO/QS Teams.
Served as the Quality representative on the Configuration Control
Board. Responsible for the supervision
of up to three Quality Assurance Technicians, and served as a backup to
our Chief Inspector with the supervision of up to twenty inspectors.

n Responsible for the creation and modification of the master
inspection reports. Served as
the librarian for the specification files.
Reviewed all outgoing purchase orders to assure the proper requirements
were specified. Served as the
company interface with the Government and customer source inspectors.
Reviewed the master processing documentations to assign quality
hold points and assure that the contractually specified information was
included. Wrote or help write all of the quality procedures used by the
