I
am a Controls Engineer looking for a company in need of a very hands-on
mechanically inclined manufacturing engineer. I have a Bachelor's degree
in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University. I have experience
designing and troubleshooting electrical systems of industrial automation.
The machinery I have been involved with includes: robotic assembly cells/dials,
automated molding presses, laser trimming stations (Bosch line), robotic
material handling cells with/without machine vision, and many more.
I have worked as a systems integrator (RTS Wright Industries) as well
as in the manufacturing environment (CTS Automotive). For three years,
at CTS, I supported high volume manufacturing machinery and molding press
automation. I have been designing the control systems of industrial automation
for over four years now, and I am an expert at robotics programming (V+).
Interacting with different engineering groups and producing appropriate
documentation has been one of my strong points for over five years. Process
improvements of efficiency and product quality were direct results of
my engineering input at CTS. Working with different types of people as
well as a large variety of project types is what makes my job interesting.
I can offer you the dedication of a creative, hard-working, dependable
professional who learns quickly. My positive attitude and enthusiasm for
engineering and technology are reflected in my work.
Summary:
Over 5
years experience as a Controls Engineer and Electronics Engineer for systems
integrators and industrial product manufacturers. Diverse experience with electrical design, electronic circuit and
PCB design, and industrial automation programming (including robotics). Skilled in the ability to troubleshoot, debug,
and support manufacturing machinery.
Dedicated hands-on professional who excels in self-directed and
team environments. Creative designer
and programmer who embraces the opportunity to work with a variety of
projects and people.
