Professional Overview:    A professional product manufacturing and packaging engineer with a variety of knowledge in design and development of product, production flow, packaging and cost estimating. An experienced manager with the ability to train, instruct and develop department staff to meet the demanding and changing needs of the customer.

1995-Present           (Company)  - WI

                         Senior Packaging Engineer/Product Engineer/Document Control Engineer

·         Develop and implement packaging for high volume production lines.

·         Review existing packaging for cost savings.

·         Responsible for new and revised product designs.

·         Investigate and resolve product engineering design issues.

·         Facilitate product design improvement to resolve manufacturing production issues.

·         Maintain product drawings – both electronic and printed.

·         Manage Document Control, Quote Estimating and CAD Design departments which includes hiring personnel and performing employee annual reviews.

·         Coordinate Engineering Change Request (ECR) program and maintain engineering change records.

·         Assign and track approved ECRs and new customer product designs to the CAD Design group for print development to assure timely completion.

·         Review/approve factory production orders for items in the ECR cycle.

·         Track incoming Customer Quotations through completion to assure timeliness and to meet customer deadlines.

·         Worked with all product lines including Pneumatics, Valves, Hose, Couplings and Adapters.

·         Incorporate bar coding & pilferage deterrent systems per customer    specifications.

·         Test and qualify all packaging designs.
