Project Description
This project deals with the design of Wing Tip break assembly for
the Airbus A380 aircraft. The conceptual models are the only inputs from
the clients. We need to design and model the different components
and assemble it.
Contribution
Was responsible for the
· Design, Modeling and detailing of
the entire assembly of the Wing Tip Brake for Airbus A380 Civil Aircraft,
using CATIA Ver 4 Rel 2.3. The main components are Input Shaft, Stator
Disc Assemblies for main brake, Rotor Disc Assembly for the trip brake,
Sleeve assembly, Different types of springs for the main and the trip
brakes, Target levers and fulcrums, Pressure plate and Ramps, Deciding
the shims for the various locations etc.
· Coordinating the team's work, and
final assembly of all the components.
· Calculating the weight and the Moment
of Inertia of the entire assembly with ref to the Wing Tip Brake Axis.

Project Description
The project is
for the design of the CF34 engine details. The client inputs for this
will be the solid models. Creation of the views, applying the GD&T,
providing the functional surfaces with the aircraft knowledge will be
the main task.
Contribution
· As a Module Lead, used to guide
the team for the deliveries and for maintaining the quality standards
of Satyam, in each bit of the project.
· Detailed designing of CF34 Engine
Components like Gussets, Inhibition fitting, Actuator Fittings, Doublers,
Core mat etc & forging components like Front Frame Torque Box, Deflection
Limiters etc using CATIA Ver 4.2.2 without customer supplied drawings.
Applying the GD & T for the drawings and also the Datum with self-expertise.
ANSI Y14.5 standards has been implemented in these detailing work
· Creation of Sheet Metal Flat-Patterns
using the Develop License of CATIA Ver 4.2.2 and also Forging Drawings
creation
· Quality Checking of the entire project,
with the documentation of the company quality documents.
