TYPAR HOUSEWRAP

·        Typar is an improved housewrap that incorporated two products into 1 universal / international product.  Typar is a nonwoven, mineral-filled microporous film laminate and a $25 million / year business that continues to gain marketshare at 4-6%/year

·        Redesigned product within 10 weeks to meet code requirements for 5 building code agencies in the US and Canada and filed provisional patent to secure a $4 million / year account

·        Designed and implemented trials on location, at outside extrusion coating facilities, and internal ink printing and converting facilities

·        Applied Six Sigma techniques to development and commercialization efforts to identify sources of variation and corrective measures

TYPAR TAPE- Sourced raw materials and potential suppliers for production of new tape, including private labeling a Canadian sealing tape, a local hot melt adhesive tape producer, and in-house capability at another facility

CAN PADS- Initiated work to develop new food contact approved separator sheet for use in the aluminum can and PET bottle industry

RIDGE-VENT- Identified cause of bow in final product and upgraded nonwoven to satisfy customer’s needs while expanding our knowledge of suppliers' extrusion coating capabilities

MICROSOFT ACCESS DATABASE DEVELOPMENT- Designed databases for R&D lab, project management, sample storage and distribution
