LOCATION: Ontario, Canada

INDUSTRY: Automotive Systems - Driveshaft

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Work in conjunction with the Quality Manager to maintain and generate corresponding information that relates to processes, equipment, and tooling including control plans, FMEAS, work instructions, etc. - Update and communicate all part print or specification changes and ensure their implementation in their respective areas - Oversee the effectiveness of the preventive maintenance program - Develop and manage Process Engineers to ensure success of engineering-related activities - Control capital plans and appropriation - Coordinate prototype builds - Maintain and order tooling/services - Ensure compliance with environmental and safety legislation - Complete any other tasks which may be assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: · Sound product knowledge - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, organizational, and communication skills - Strong MS Office and AutoCAD skills

REPORTS TO: · Plant Manager

SUPERVISES: · Engineering Department

EDUCATION: · Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering required

EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: · A minimum of five years engineering experience in a manufacturing or assembly facility - Certified Dana Supervisor preferred
