Process Engineer 04025

LOCATION: Michigan

INDUSTRY: Automotive- die stamping/aluminum products

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Will be responsible for Production Engineering's New Product Introduction stamping operations/processes, trouble shooting existing stamping operations with other departments such as Maintenance, Production, or Jig Shop. Performing Process Capability Studies for NPI and stamping operations. Tracking/administering ECI's related to the stamping processes/component parts. Will be required to do design work when necessary.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: · Experience in die stamping design and troubleshooting experience with aluminum products. Proven problem solving ability in a related field. Looking for someone with good written and oral communication skills, self-motivator as well as a team player.

REPORTS TO: · Engineering Manager

SUPERVISES: · N/A

EDUCATION: · Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: · 2-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment in a related field. Must be proficient with MS Office software as well as experience with CAD design.
