Quality Engineer 04026

LOCATION: Michigan

INDUSTRY: Automotive- die stamping/aluminum products

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Handling all issues related to customer complaints, including coordination of sorts, identifying the root cause of problems, ensuring countermeasures are put in place that will prevent recurrence of the problems. Will coordinate engineering and process changes and all other customer requirements. Will also track and report key company performance data, maintain and develop customer documentation and other tracking requirements, attend trials and mass as well as problem solve with associates on the floor in a "hands-on" capacity. ork when necessary.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: · Must have good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, work overtime as required, be self-motivated and self-directed, have strong problem solving skills, strong computer skills, able to travel as required, previous experience in the automotive industry.

REPORTS TO: · Engineering Manager

SUPERVISES: · N/A

EDUCATION: · Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 8 years engineering experience.

EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: · 2 - 5 years experience with degree. Proven experience with critical characteristics, customer use points, root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and coordinating engineering and process changes.
