LOCATION: North Carolina

INDUSTRY: Automotive - Plastics Molding

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Working in molding process focus team environment. Candidate must be self-motivated with ability to work with minimum supervision, well organized and possess good communication and computer skills including AutoCAD. Use engineering practices and methods to solve daily production issues that include molding processing skills and mechanical changes, molding press and auxiliary equipment evaluation, customer complaints, product and design issues along with material and molding tolling changes. Assist with launching new program - tooling along with coordinating and implementing projects and completing multiple tasks within the allotted time frame.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Cost reduction projects, spare tooling responsibilities and working with inside and outside suppliers and contractors.

REPORTS TO: Manager

SUPERVISES: N/A

EDUCATION: BS Degree in Plastics, Tooling Certificate

EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT:
or 5-10 years experience in injection mold processing and tooling using engineering practices. Computer experience a must.
