Project Engineer 04041

LOCATION: Pennsylvania

INDUSTRY: A leading global supplier of automatic tank gauging and fuel management systems.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, conduct and manage daily activities of design and development assignments generally involving the larger and more important projects or more than one project of major magnitude and scope. Responsible for detailed design work of assignments. Estimate engineering personnel needs. Schedule and perform work to meet completion dates and technical specification. Coordinate and supervise engineers, designers, drafters and technicians assigned to projects. Determine economic and technical feasibility of projects and products and provide estimates. Evaluate progress and results of projects and recommend major changes in procedures or objectives. Operate with considerable latitude for unreviewed action or decision.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Training in another plant location for approximately two to three months.

REPORTS TO: Manager

SUPERVISES: N/A

EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: Five or more years of experience in the engineering field. The successful applicant must possess the following skill set requirements: · Mechanical design and Project Management experience. · Fluid mechanics, machining, failure analysis and flow analysis. · Detail oriented in regards to reviewing and critiquing drafting and design work.
