Process Engineer 04046

LOCATION: Indiana

INDUSTRY: A leading supplier of custom engineered and manufactured surgical instrument cases and trays.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible to define, measure, analyze, improve and control manufacturing and engineering processes. Baseline data collection that locates problems and occurrences. Implementation of solutions that address root causes to eliminate or reduce the impact. Develop plans for evaluating results. Outline steps for ongoing improvements, controls and standardization that allows the gains made to be maintained. Train and implement Process Control Systems company wide.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Support other engineering functions, operations and customers as needed.

REPORTS TO: Manager

SUPERVISES: N/A

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in engineering.

EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: Six Sigma certification and/or equivalent process control methodology. Skills should include CAD/CAM and 3D modeling experience as well as knowledge of polymers, metals, turning, machining, EDM, grinding and metal fabrication.
