LOCATION: Arizona

INDUSTRY: A leading manufacturer of plastic components for the medical and high tech industries

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This individual will review analytical documentation and test various materials including plastics, adhesives, packaging, and lubricants. Will write reports and maintain laboratory records and results of analyses. Directs the calibration and maintenance of the laboratory and the analytical equipment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of FTIR, DSC, extractable techniques, equipment and software. Knowledge of QSR and analytical testing procedures for polymers.

REPORTS TO: Manager

SUPERVISES: N/A

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in chemistry.

EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: 2 years experience preferred in a manufacturing environment related to the scale-up and commercialization of medical devices.
