Manufacturing Engineer 04061

LOCATION: Michigan

INDUSTRY: In-house design and tooling capabilities-design and plastics extrusion manufacturing for Automotive, Appliance and Die Cut Rubber products.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manufacturing engineer to implement process improvement in a continual flow plastic profile single, co, tri and quad, custom molding extrusion plant. Multiple facilities, working with PE, PP, PVC, ABS, Nylon, TPE, TPV, TPO, PU, PS, Foam rubber for die cutting, and rubber and silicone for molding.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience and knowledge of ISO/QS standards, lean manufacturing practices and Six Sigma Black Belts preferred. Hands-on knowledge of plastics extrusion processing.

REPORTS TO: Manager

SUPERVISES: n/a

EDUCATION: Bachelors of Science. Plastics technology or plastics related education/training.

EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: Minimum of three years experience. Plastics Extrusion.
