Manufacturing/Process Engineer 04082

LOCATION: South Carolina

INDUSTRY: Injection Molding

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate should possess large mold press (1000+ ton) processing experience with FIM, Structural Foam and Gas-assist. The candidate should be familiar with multiple component machines and complex tooling. Process mapping and FMEA knowledge for injection molding/tooling along with additive experience using pre-colored materials, master batch colors, foaming agents and liquid color technology is also a plus.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Training skills or experience in program development also a plus. Winning candidate will be comfortable presenting information to internal and external small groups.

SUPERVISES: n/a

EDUCATION: Four year degree is required in Engineering. Preferrably plastics technology.

EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: A minimum of five years injection molding processing of engineered materials. Must be proficient with MS Office and MS Project software. Scientific injection molding methodologies/technologies (De-Coupled, DOE, data acquisition systems, etc.) required.
