INDUSTRY: Profile Extrusion

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: We offer an exciting and challenging environment. We need people who will make decisions, think on their feet, and believe in total customer satisfaction. A new process engineer who will focus on CFT (continuous fiber thermoplastic) production facility in process development, tooling design, and material qualifications for PP, PET, PVC, PBT and TPU thermoplastic extrusions.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: This process is a hybridization of extrusion and pultrusion, producing high fiber volume thermoplastic extruded profiles.

REPORTS TO: n/a

SUPERVISES: n/a

EDUCATION: A technical degree is a must.

EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: A minimum of 2 years of experience. Experience should include tool design (should be AutoCAD or SolidWorks proficient) and co-extrusion.
