INDUSTRY: Polymer Engineering - manufacture resins

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To assist in the development of process technology related to resin manufacturing process. The candidate should have background in process development, including process design and scale up.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will be a team member working with chemists and chemical engineers to develop conceptual process designs, conduct vendor equipment trials, specify process equipment, and develop process investment estimates.

SUPERVISES: n/a

EDUCATION: BS Chemical Engineering

EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: A candidate with 0-5 years of experience is preferred and must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Knowledge of processing techniques commonly used in the world of thermosets and thermoplastics. This position will be based near Rochester, NY and will involve travel in the US and Europe.
