Constantia Packaging Group's include activities in producing raw aluminum, aluminum semi-finished rolled products, foundry alloys as well as packaging made from aluminum, plastic and corrugated board for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, automotive and aerospace industries, among others.

The Flexible Packaging business accounts for some 75% of sales, while Corrugated Board makes up the remaining 25%.

Austria Metall AG - Aluminium
AMAG, a subsidiary of Constantia Packaging AG since September 2007, is Austria’s leading producer of aluminum semi-finished products and cast alloys for the processing industry. In 2007, it generated approximately €1,050 million in sales, with some 1,300 employees. AMAG is 73.45%-owned by Constantia Packaging AG.

Duropack AG - Corrugated Board
In the Corrugated Board segment, the Duropack Group produces and distributes all types of corrugated board packaging and various specialty products such as heavy-duty corrugated board, point-of-sale displays and specialty containers.

Constantia Packaging AG is now the sole shareholder Duropack AG, acquired for €55 million from Jefferson Smurfit Group’s subsidiary Smurfit Interwell Gesellschaft mbH. Duropack Group has 12 production facilities in eight countries in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe. The Ceske Budejovice facility in the Czech Republic also produces the base paper used to manufacture corrugated board. The Duropack Group’s main markets include Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. In 2005, the company successfully entered the Bulgarian market.

Constantia Flexibles provides the food, beverage and pharmaceuticals industries with a comprehensive portfolio of high-value packaging made from aluminium, paper and plastic.
