Hypertherm’s plasma cutting systems Centricut new 275 amp consumables

Industrial professionals now have a new option when choosing cutting edge consumable technologies as Hypertherm’s Centricut brand announces the availability of 275 amp consumables for ProLine 2260 and FineLine 260 Systems.

The new consumable products include two unique Hypertherm innovations—patented SilverLine* electrodes and patent pending CoolFlow* nozzles. Along with swirl rings and shield caps that are proven to increase consumable life by up to 100 percent, the new consumables join five other ProLine consumable sets—50, 70, 100, 150 and 200 amp versions—introduced last year.

Hypertherm designs and manufactures the world’s most advanced plasma cutting systems for use in a variety of industries such as shipbuilding, manufacturing, and automotive repair. Its product line includes handheld and mechanized plasma systems and consumables, as well as CNC motion and height controls.

SilverLine electrode technology involves welding a solid silver front end to a copper electrode base and inserting a hafnium pin into the silver. CoolFlow nozzle technology, on the other hand, offers improved conduction cooling, o-ring cooling and seal reliability. Additionally, flow stagnation and leaks into the plasma chamber are eliminated.
