More color in architectural concrete Colored Concrete Works is the slogan of an ongoing initiative for colored architectural concrete by the Inorganic Pigments business unit of the specialty chemicals group LANXESS AG.
A series of prestigious case studies impressively demonstrate how Bayferrox pigments can be used in the 21st century to add beauty and value to architectural objects. This second study describes star architect Lord Norman Foster's Arsta Bridge project at the Stockholm main train station. This latest brochure, shown below in photo, has been sent to more than 60,000 architects and decision-makers in addition to key companies in the European concrete precast industry. “The response to the first global informational measures and the first case study on the ESO Hotel in Chile was tremendous. This shows that we are moving in the right direction with Colored Concrete Works,” says Bernd Wurth, Head of the EMEA region at IPG. The next case study on the use of Bayferrox Yellow pigments for a bodega project in northern Spain is currently in preparation.
