Nordson to highlight solutions for disposable hygiene adhesives applications
and manufacturing efficiencies at the leading nonwovens exhibit INDEX

Nordson Corporation, Westlake, Ohio, USA, will be demonstrating a wide
array of innovations in adhesives applications, variation management and
waste control at INDEX 08, the world's leading nonwovens exhibit, being
held April 15-18 in Geneva, Switzerland.
Nordson will be showcasing its latest innovations for the effective applications
of adhesives, lotions and perfumes at 660M/min at booth #2161, including
its Universal* Signature* lamination and long lasting SureWrap* elastic
spray technologies, as well as its Universal Slice gear metering applicator.
Nordson will also display a number of unique variation management solutions
that help manufacturers substantially reduce adhesive waste, including
metering and pressure control options that can easily integrate into new
and existing manufacturing lines for nonwovens and other applications.
"For manufacturers, it's all about efficiency, speed and process
control," said Michael Fornes, nonwovens global marketing manager.
"We are supporting these performance goals with a variety of technologies
that push the disposable hygiene adhesive dispensing speed barrier and
help manufacturers more effectively and efficiently apply adhesives, with
less waste, greater flexibility and increased cost savings."
The Nordson INDEX 08 booth will feature live demonstrations every 30 minutes
focused on high speed hygiene adhesives dispensing for nonwovens and other
processes. The booth will also feature Nordson's Universal spray and slot
coating solutions, which allow manufacturers to choose the most appropriate
technology for each application. Nordson's comprehensive adhesive supply
solutions include a complete line of bulk distribution systems and adhesive
melters designed specifically for nonwovens applications. Melters include
the VersaBlue* XN series, capable of supplying an entire diaper line from
one melter; VersaBlue IPC; VersaBlue PLC; and mid-tier AltaBlue* and new
AltaBlueTT melters.
