Quadrant develops, manufactures and distributes engineering plastics
shapes – rods, bars, plates, sheets, tubes – and machined
parts made of PBI, PAI, PEEK, PPS, PTFE, PEI, PPSU, PSU, PC, PET, POM,
PA, UHMW-PE. Quadrant also produces Symalit fluoroplastics (PVDF, ECTFE,
ETFE, FEB, MFA, PFA), injection moulded components and cable protection
conduits. Our plastic composites are produced from polypropylene matrices
and glass or natural fibres and include glass mat thermoplastics (GMT,
GMTex) and light weight reinforced thermoplastics (SymaLITE).

1) High-Performance Plastics (QEPP/QCMS)
Processing high-performance plastics
Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products (QEPP) develops, produces and distributes
semi-finished and finished products made from high-performance plastics
at 21 locations in 16 countries. Major production operations are based
in the USA, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, South Korea (joint venture)
and Japan (joint venture).
Injection moulding of high-performance plastics
Quadrant Creative Moulding & Systems (QCMS) in Tielt / Belgium develops,
produces and distributes thermoplastic injection moulded components and
systems made from high-performance plastics. Its engineering know-how,
its extensive range of advanced machinery and its clean room technology
make QCMS one of Europe's leading companies in this sector. Components
produced by Quadrant CMS fall into four major categories: automotive;
medical; electrics & electronics and mechanical equipment.
2) Plastic Composites / Cable Protection Systems (QPC/QCPS)
Glass fiber reinforced thermoplastics
Quadrant Plastic Composites (QPC) develops, produces and markets semi-finished
composite products (panel blanks) consisting of glass fiber mats and thermoplastics
(mainly polypropylene), which can be further reinforced by glass fiber
and polyester fabrics. QPC operates facilities in Lenzburg (Switzerland),
Lotte (Germany) and Worms (Germany).
QPC is market leader in the field of glass mat thermoplastics (GMT).
Quadrant Cable Protection Systems (QCPS) - Plastic cable protection conduits
Symalit in Lenzburg / Switzerland produces and distributes pipes, shaped
parts and special components, mainly for the Swiss cable protection market.
Symalit fluoroplastics are used in high-tech applications that demand
absolute safety. With their anti-adhesive surfaces, fluoroplastics possess
excellent resistance to chemicals and heat. In the chemical industry they
are synonymous with the very highest corrosion protection, while in the
semiconductor or pharmaceutical industry they stand for the transport
of high purity media with absolute freedom from contamination.
The unique chemical, electrical, thermal and surface characteristics
make Symalit fluoroplastics ideally suited for lining of containers and
tanks, fittings, pump components for semiconductor process equipment,
chemical storage and fluid handling, pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology,
pulp and paper industry, heavy duty corrosion protection, power plants
and heat exchangers.
Symalit fluoroplastics offers the greatest ease of processing whether
it is machining, welding or thermoforming.
