Valmet Automotive quality award winner Timo Tanskanen

The interim Valmet Automotive quality award from the internal customer has been given to Timo Tanskanen, an expert of roofs, sealings and window glass fits of open cars.

Valmet Automotive, a contract manufacturer of specialty cars, is located on the southwest coast of Finland.

Timo Tanskanen works in the assembly line segment there and takes care of the car after the water leakage test.

Timo Tanskanen knows the car construction thoroughly and is capable of securing the high quality. He is quick in analysing eventual problem situations and whenever needed, calls a group of experts to solve the problems.

His colleagues say: "He always thinks positively and never gets nervous. He is also punctual."

Timo Tanskanen was positively surprised of the award. He likes his varied work and the nice work team. The award was given to him by Executive Vice President Risto Hukkanen and Quality Manager Olli Kerajärvi.

The Quality Award from Valmet Automotive is granted twice a year. Candidates are put forward by internal customers and the winner is chosen by the Quality Management Group. Furthermore, the annual Quality Award is granted by Valmet Automotive management group in December.

Valmet Automotive is the manufacturer of Porsche Boxster, Porsche Boxster S, Porsche Cayman and Porsche Cayman S sports cars.
