American Water Star Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire Prime Plastics Inc.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA/August 23, 2003 / - - American Water Star (OTC BB: AMWS) has signed a letter of intent to acquire Prime Plastics Inc. Currently a private Kansas corporation, Prime Plastics specializes in the manufacturing of bottle caps for a wide array of bottles in the beverage industry. American Water Star has utilized Prime Plastics as one of its largest suppliers of caps for nearly a year.

American Water Star CEO and President Roger Mohlman stated, "When this transaction is finalized, this acquisition will dramatically improve gross profit margins by reducing the cost of goods in this production area. Furthermore, the transaction is expected to add several million dollars in annual gross revenues. Both parties have been negotiating this acquisition for several months. The new accelerated sales results being achieved by American Water Star prompted the agreement of the acquisition."
