The pharmaceutical industry’s largest and best-known annual conference and exhibition continues to grow and evolve with the industry and now covers every step of drug development and manufacturing under a single name: INTERPHEX.

Formerly focused primarily on production and packaging of pharmaceuticals, the new INTERPHEX is the only place the entire industry can now gather under one roof. It’s a catalyst for new technologies, strategic alliances, cutting-edge education, and opportunities for gathering market intelligence and exchanging ideas, according to Kevin Richards, vice president of Reed Exhibitions.

Solutions and education at INTERPHEX2004 cover drug discovery & development, outsourcing & contract services, and information technology, in addition to process manufacturing & packaging.

NTERPHEX2004, with 950 exhibitors and four concurrent conferences, takes place March 16-18 at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City – the center of “Pharm Country,” encompassing New Jersey’s “Cure Corridor,” the New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut bioscience communities, and Massachusetts’ “Genetown.”

“New technologies and new business realities have changed the drug discovery, development and manufacturing process,” said Richards, “and INTERPHEX is growing to meet these rapidly changing requirements. There’s a growing realization among pharmaceutical companies that a total industry perspective is critical to their purchasing and their business strategy in order to compete in today's economic environment.”
