Reedley, CA --January 6, 2004-- Dependable Case Erector Accommodates Array of Case Styles and Features Quick Changeovers

SWF Companies provides "around the clock" dependability with its compact CE 201 case erector, which is capable of erecting and bottom sealing up to 30 cases per minute.

Accommodating many different case styles, including RSC, HSC, AFM, FOL and used cases, the CE 201 can be deployed in industries such as produce, prepared foods, dairy, converted paper products, baked goods and snack foods, and meat, fish & poultry.

With an all-mechanical design and multiple case size and style capabilities, the CE 201 features quick case changeovers, which can be done in five minutes or less utilizing scaled and pointed adjustments. Additional standard features include PLC controls, a pressurized hot melt glue system, automatic jam detection, and a double-40 pre-stretched chain with take-ups, taper locks and QD sprockets.

Available options on the CE 201 include UL certification, tool-less changeover, steel casters for convenient portability, remote start/stop, pressure sensitive tape sealing and a power infeed conveyor for greater case blank magazine capacity.

RPC Erector Eliminates Manual Set-Up

The company has also launched the CE 100P returnable plastic container (RPC) erector.Widely used in the produce industry, the CE 100P is ergonomically designed for ease of operation and can run various case depths with minimal changeover. Offering an automatic infeed system and a 26 inch maximum stack height, the CE 100P offers a compact footprint. Other standard features include Allen Bradley components, plexiglass guarding and sensor for major side panel overlap detection.

Available options include a custom infeed system, capability to run half-size cases, Allen Bradley panel view 300 with alarm message screen for error detection and additional infeed conveyor sections. Full line integration is also available upon request.
