Seattle, WA, USA--(Jobwerx News)--Bombardier will showcase the most diverse range of aircraft in the industry with eight aircraft on static display at the 2005 Paris International Air Show.

The 2005 Paris International Air Show runs from Monday June 13, through Thursday, June 16, for trade visitors, and Friday, June 17 to Sunday, June 19 for public visitors.

"Bombardier's tradition of innovation has contributed to the significant growth in its business aircraft sales during the past three months with a 30 per cent increase in orders and a 71 per cent increase in deliveries compared to the same period last year. This is a testament to the success of our newest products, such as the Challenger 300, the Global 5000 and the Learjet 40 business jets," said Pierre Beaudoin, President and Chief Operating Officer, Bombardier Aerospace.

"Airlines praised the benefits of passenger comfort and low-operating costs when placing orders for Bombardier regional aircraft," Mr Beaudoin added. "As airlines favour the larger regional jets, our figures for this first fiscal quarter are of 43 net orders and 40 deliveries. This demonstrates our leadership in this rapidly expanding market segment."

Headlining the Business Aircraft display will be the Special Edition Learjet 60 midsize aircraft and the Bombardier Global 5000 high-speed jet both making their Paris debut. Introduced in October 2004, the Special Edition Learjet 60 aircraft is generating significant market interest worldwide, with recent orders placed by customers in Macedonia, Brazil, Spain and Mexico. The Paris Air Show also marks the first ever appearance of a Bombardier Global 5000 business jet equipped with the revolutionary Airshow 21 Ethernet-based cabin management system.

Making its international airshow debut at Paris, the 75-seat CRJ705 regional jet combines the lowest operating costs in its class with superb performance characteristics. A variety of seating configurations is available for three, two and single class interiors and the aircraft provides exceptional passenger comfort and in-flight amenities, plus increased baggage capacity.

Learjet 60

Global 5000

CRJ700

Bombardier CRJ700: The CRJ700 aircraft on display is in United Express colours and operated by SkyWest Airlines. The wide flexibility of the CRJ700 passenger cabin is illustrated by a unique three-class interior featuring First Class, Economy Plus(r) and Economy. The CRJ700 airliner has the lowest operating costs of any jet aircraft in the 70-seat class.

CRJ705

Bombardier CRJ705: The CRJ705 airliner as delivered to Air Canada Jazz, and on display at the Paris Air Show, has a two-class passenger cabin configuration with ten Executive Class(r) seats and 65 Hospitality Class(r) seats. The CRJ705 aircraft combines the lowest operating costs in its class with superb performance characteristics including greater range.

Q400
