Seattle, WA, USA--(Jobwerx News)--Former DuPont Robert Preston takes
lead of Eastman chemicals, fibers and plastics division in Asia Pacific
basin.
Robert Preston is vice president and managing director of Eastman Chemical
Company’s Eastman division with responsibility for Asia Pacific. Preston's
professional career reflects more than 25 years of creative leadership
and visionary capacities in complex, competitive and highly regulated
manufacturing industries. He combines strategic and tactical expertise
to produce bottom-line results and financial strength.
Preston began his career with DuPont Company headquartered in Wilmington,
Delaware. During his 13 year tenure at DuPont, he worked in a variety
of assignments with increasing responsibility gaining experience in
engineering, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, finance, information
technology and sales.
Preston's keen eye for detail has placed him in high profile assignments
to include: vice president of operations for Plymouth Rubber Company;
director of operations for Shuford Technology; director of operations
for Engineering Plastics; managing director for Engineering Plastics
in Europe; vice president and general manager for Honeywell in Asia;
and senior vice president and general manager for Johnson Electric Incorporated
in Hong Kong, SAR China.
Preston earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering
from Northeastern University in Boston in 1974, and a Master of Science
degree in engineering management/ME from Rutgers University in 1978.
