Marion, IA -- January 28, 2003 -- Granurex a unique multi-functional rotor-processor for granulating, coating, and drying. A one-pot-system that produces uniform spherical granules or irregular shaped granules, applies coatings and dries the material. Multiple process functions include wet & centrifugal granulation, fluid & centrifugal granulation, powder coating & layering, coating and drying.

The conical rotor design generates dynamic particle movement improving product yields. Uniform slit air distribution prevents granule agglomeration during the coating process and generates excellent coating uniformity. The patented "kreisor" hem plate returns powders and fine particles into the process zone increasing granulation and coating uniformity. Product drying is achieved using a movable-duct to direct air into the processing zone.

There are eight (8) models of the Granurex available. Product development can be performed in Laboratory units with capacities of 0.5 - 1.0 and 3.5 - 7.0 kg per batch. Production units range in capacity from 30 - 60, 45 - 90, 60 - 120 and 100 - 200 kg per batch.
