Success for Filling Plastics Cups at Interpack 2005

Seattle, WA, USA--(Jobwerx News)--Flexline, a new generation of filling machines for preformed plastics cups and bottles from HAMBA, was a hit in Düsseldorf.

The crowded and busy HAMBA booth was an impressive proof for the market's strong interest in the new HAMBA Flexline. Together with our customers we are very happy about the positive feedback we received from the international audience.

On display was the ultra clean version of the Flexline for filling cups (8/8 cups/cycle, 95mm cup diam.) with a performance of more than 40.000 cups/hr. In slightly more than a year the team in Neunkirchen developed a new generation of filling machines for preformed cups and bottles. The equipment provides our customers with a wide range of innovations and improvements.

Significantly enhanced operation and maintenance, very high level of format flexibility, 100% servo-driven - many features contributed to the audience evaluation: "absolutely cutting-edge and trend-setting".

HAMBA Filltec develops and manufactures filling and closing machines for filling and closing of pasty and liquid products in pre-formed cups made of plastic, carton-plastic compounds, carton, aluminium, and pre-formed PET- or HDPE-bottles.

New representative office in CIS countries

HAMBA has strengthened its presence in the growing markets of the CIS. We are very glad that we gained Anton Ohlert as our partner to further develop and relationship with our customers in the CIS-countries. Performance improvements for existing HAMBA machines

Besides the development of the new machine concept we are continuously pursuing technical improvements on the installed machines.

The use of new plastic pistons in our filling units eliminated the need for sealings and thus reduces the required service of the machine; furthermore the hygienic safety of the machine will be improved. virtually all HAMBA machines can be upgraded with new plastic pistons.
The manual acid based cleaning cycle to remove H2O2-residues on the heating elements of the vaporizer in the H2O2-sterilisation unit has been eliminated. The cleaning can now be integrated into the automated CIP process. Any residues will be regularly removed during the acid cleaning cycle.
