Get increased efficiency from Husky's PET preform systems

May, 03/Bolton, ON -- Husky's latest G-Series multi-position robotic handling systems for PET preforms feature improved transfer efficiency for tough-to-handle preforms. This means increased efficiency and uptime because production stoppages are virtually eliminated. The new systems are now shipping to customers around the world.

"This latest version of our take-out plate and robot is designed to greatly reduce production stoppages due to preform transfer problems," says Mike Urquhart, Husky's Vice-President of PET Systems. "Part transfer issues can become the main factor limiting higher productivity-particularly on short, bell-shaped preforms. This new design gives Husky customers an edge in dealing with these tough applications."

The new take-out plates are standard on all new Husky systems and are also available as a retrofit to existing systems.
