Materials
testing equipment aids developing market in India
News Release Mar., 05/ The only agent in India stocking spare parts for
universal testing machines, Hemetek Techno Instruments has decided to
extend a successful 'buy back' scheme this year, where customers can replace
old testing machines with new testing systems from the company.
Materials testing equipment from Lloyd Instruments are now available
to companies and universities in India through a buy-back scheme arranged
with its official distributor. New launches include the latest version of the advanced Nexygen MT control analysis software package, the low force 1kN LFPlus universal test machine and the TAPlus food texture analyser - both of which are modular in design. In India, stocking spare parts can be expensive and very few suppliers of materials testing machines calibrate using digital proving rings. Hemetek now offers NPL Accredited Calibration Services with Lloyd Instruments’ Digital Proving Rings and also stocks spare parts. Hemetek is soon expected to gain ISO 17025 accreditation for machine calibration and servicing. According to Lloyds Instruments, Hemetek won its original contract due to technical competency, applications expertise (particularly in plastics, packaging, education and food sectors) and commitment to customer service and satisfaction. As well as offering standard equipment, Hemetek has experience in providing custom-design solutions for novel applications, such as automated testing requirements. Hemetek's customer base currently covers the whole of the Indian sub continent, with offices in Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Banglore and Delhi. From analysing raw materials to finished products in manufacturing or research, Lloyd Instruments supplies a host of industries including plastics, composites, packaging, paper and food. The company has a worldwide distributor network for sales and service, including Asia and Far East regions. Its Material Test Business Unit is headquartered in Largo, Florida, with manufacturing facilities based in Fareham in the UK and USA. Our strength lies in our worldwide comprehensive customer and service
support. This includes installation, servicing, diagnostics and traceable
verification and calibration. Our technical team offers structured customer
training and education programmes.
