These continuous-motion Side-Sealers are designed for efficient and high-quality wrapping of a wide variety of products in shrink film.

The Servo Jet represents the successful combination of the newest servo-drive technology with high-end PC-based technology ELAU (PacDriveTM) for industrial use in a single control system. This innovative concept has strongly influenced developments in control technology in this field. The decentralized, expandable system structure of the controller manages all programmable logic controller (PLC) functions as well as all movements in the machine with extreme precision and reliability. In conjunction with servo drive systems, this intelligent PC-based technology provides highest flexibility for fast, smooth and high-quality wrapping of products. The Servo Jet reaches a top performance of 100 and 150 packs/min. respectively.

Throughout the entire packaging process the flow of the product is centred, smooth and accurately positioned. A modular build chain gripper system feeds in the products with a predefined spacing. The product is completely wrapped by entering a film tube. This is achieved by a center-folded film, which runs over a forming shoe. A vacuum-suction conveyor ensures fast and secure transport of the product through the sealing systems giving strong and high quality seals. The remaining film is automatically stored on a motorized waste film take-up winder.
