Rexam Completes US Plastics Packaging Acquisition

Seattle, WA, USA--(Jobwerx News)--Rexam has completed the acquisition of Delta Plastics Inc, a US-based plastic packaging business.

Rexam, the global consumer packaging group and the world's leading beverage can maker, is pleased to announce that, having received regulatory approval, it has completed the acquisition of Delta Plastics Inc, a US-based plastic packaging business, which was announced on 6 September 2005.

Delta Plastics is based in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It designs and manufactures plastic injection-molded jars and closures for a variety of applications, primarily for the personal care and food markets. The company holds a number of patented product designs.

Rexam, London, UK, is one of the world's top five consumer packaging groups and the world's leading beverage can maker. The group has around 90 plants in more than 20 countries across the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Rexam's product list comprises beverage cans, glass bottles, glass jars, plastic containers for food, plastic beauty products such as lipstick cases, compacts and dispensing systems, plastic pharmaceutical products, PET bottles and plastics closures. They also produce other smaller product ranges, all of which serve the consumer packaging market.
