Film Corp. increases capacity at Bellville, Ont plant
News Release May 21 /Sigma Stretch Film Corp. (Belleville, Ont.) will increase
capacity at its Belleville plant by acquiring a stretchfilm line from
Rollpak Corp. (Goshen, Ind.).
Bob Nocek, Sigma Stretch president and chief operating officer, says the 20-million lb/yr line will boost Belleville's capacity to 55-million pounds. Rollpack is exiting stretch film to focus on can liners. Alpha Industries Corp. is a member of the Sigma Plastics Group of companies, the largest privately held film manufacturer in the plastics industry. Sigma Plastics Group annual production exceeds 800,000,000 lbs. of raw material, turning these resins into top quality products that have lot to lot consistency. Rollpak Corporation is a film
extruder and converter of polyethylene products for commercial markets.
It's two main products are institutional/industrial trash can liners
and industrial cast stretch film. The company has distributors established
in 35 states and markets into all 50 states as well as Canada and Mexico.
