June 21, 2005 Surfware to demonstrate TrueMill at Haas Demo Day Seattle, WA, USA--(Jobwerx News)--Surfware's new tool path engine TrueMill
to be shared with the machining community at Haas Factory Outlet facilities
throughout North America. TrueMill is a completely new tool path engine that provides dramatic
reductions in cycle time by dynamically managing tool loads. TrueMill
generates smooth, fluid tool paths that are completely free from spikes
or sudden changes in tool load, leveraging the existing motion-control
capabilities of CNC machine tools. Thus, machining parameters such as
spindle speed, feed rate, depth-of-cut, and stepover can be used in
combinations that would result in material damage or tool breakage if
used with existing tool path generators. Haas Automation, Inc. is the largest machine tool builder in the United
States, Haas Automation (www.haascnc.com) manufactures a full line of
CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers, CNC lathes, rotary tables
and 5C indexers. Haas machine tools and rotary products are built to
deliver higher accuracy, repeatability and durability than any other
machine tools on the market. Haas Automation currently ships more CNC
machines per month than any other manufacturer in the US, if not the
world.
