The New Generation of home appliances

INSIGHT

GONE are the days of bulky home appliances that stand out like a sore thumb amidst your decor.

Not with Samsung Electronics Company Ltds latest range of home appliances that combine state-of-the-art technology and sophisticated designs for value-for-money products.

Samsung Electronics has new models under four categories of home appliances as part of its New Generation banner.

The New Generation home appliances are a combination of exclusive patented Samsung technology and sheer style, said Ling Yu Wong, marketing manager of S Marina Sales and Services Sdn Bhd, Samsungs marketing arm.

He said the range, which covers refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens and vacuum cleaners, complete and complement the modern lifestyle.

To create even more value, the company will be launching a Samsung Home Appliances Fest where shoppers can get top-of-the-line La Gourmet cookware made of 18/10 stainless steel from Germany, with the purchase of any Samsung New Generation home appliance.

Samsungs New Generation home appliances will be introduced at the fest, which is being held nationwide at all its dealers outlets until July 15.

Ling said the fest is the companys mid-year campaign to promote its technology and designs.

He said RM2.5 million has been budgeted for the Samsung Home Appliances Fest, which is expected to achieve sales of RM50 million.

Ling added that each home appliance has its technological edge, such as the New Generation series of refrigerators - a 670-litre Bottom Freezer model that is equipped with Samsungs twin-cooling system and digital electronic control display. Six models are available in this category.

Focus of the New Generation series of washing machines is the new range of top-loading washing machines, with their bio-magic filter and centre jet pulsator which lifts clothes for better circulation and to prevent tangling.

Also present were S Marina Sales and Services general manager Ramon Woon and Samsung Electronics Company Ltd general manager for Kuala Lumpur office J.H. Kwong.
