TOOL*EDGE TOOL PRESET SOFTWARE
Abstract February 14, / Tool*Edge™ is a dynamic tool preset software
package which obtains tool dimension information from a tool presetter,
stores the information within the software's database, processes the data
into "G10" or other machine formats, and links the information to a DNC
system. Multiple packages of the software can be run on a network with
tool family definition, job organization, and individual tool measuring
functions divided amongst different users. Tool*Edge includes a built-in
graphics module and full multi-level security.
To insure maximum performance of the software Tool*Edge is sold as
part of a full Tool Preset Productivity package. A base package is comprised
of:
Package options include additional software seats, custom post processors,
ID Chip and Bar Code support, tool assembly modules, and more. Tool*Edge
is based on years of tool preset experience and is available to tool preset
