Anderol ROYCO 800 series lubricants

Anderol, Inc., a global manufacturer of specialty synthetic lubricants, recently introduced its ROYCO 800 series lubricants at GO-EXPO 2007 in Canada.

Visitors at The Gas and Oil Exposition (GO-EXPO) 2007, held June 12-14 in Calgary, Canada learned about Anderol’s Polyalkyleneglycol (PAG)-based ROYCO 800 series lubricants, which are specifically engineered for demanding hydrocarbon, process, and natural gas compression applications.

Approved by major compressor OEMs, the ROYCO 800 series lubricants extends application life by exhibiting a high initial viscosity at cylinder operating conditions and minimal viscosity change from fluctuations in pressure, temperature or gas density. These lubricants are highly resistant to wash-off by hydrocarbon condensation often present in compressor cylinders. In addition, the ROYCO 800 series lubricants address pertinent gas compression issues, including gas dilution and reaction with gas matrix, thus enhancing the quality of processed gas. This lubricant series is completely non-reactive to additives in the gas stream making it ideal for sweet and sour gas applications.

Anderol’s Polyalkyleneglycol (PAG)-based ROYCO 800 series lubricants are specifically engineered to provide high film strength to protect against rust, scoring, wear and corrosion in hydrocarbon gas compression applications. Formulated with pour points as low as -55°C, they provide exceptional cold-weather start-up protection for compressor cylinders, packings, gaskets, hoses, and other critical application components.

The ROYCO 800 series lubricants meet the highest standards of quality in the gas compression industry, including UOP and ISO standards.
