SOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 18, 2004 -- BASF's Automotive Refinish business has issued its North American training schedule for the third quarter of 2004.
Courses will be conducted at nine training facilities in the United States and Canada (with French-language courses in the Montreal facility).

The courses cover the latest and most advanced techniques for proper application and color adjustment of Glasurit(R) and R-M(R) paint systems. All of the U.S. facilities offer Glasurit and R-M programs that meet the mandatory requirements for General Motors and Ford certification.

Several of the sites also offer training in the use of the innovative Glasurit Small-Damage Repair System(TM), as well as the R-M Cycle Time Reduction Repair System. Environmental consideration and safety instruction are integral parts of all the classes.
