BASF Product Inceases
for Chemicals
BASF Corporation to increase prices for polyvinylpyrrolidone products
and inorganic chemicals.
BASF to increase prices for inorganic chemicals.
Effective January 1, 2006, or as allowed by contract, BASF will increase
its selling prices in the United States by $0.02 per pound on all technical
grade sulfite products and on all grades of sodium nitrite and sodium
nitrate, and by $0.04 per pound on all food and photo grade sulfite products.
BASF to increase prices for polyvinylpyrrolidone products in North America.
Effective January 1, 2006, or as contracts allow, BASF will raise prices
by 10 percent in the United States, Canada and Mexico on all Luvitec(R)
and Luvicross(R) polyvinylpyrrolidone products supplied to specialty markets
for technical applications.
Highly versatile materials, BASF's polyvinylpyrrolidone products may be
used to produce ceramics, emulsions, plastics, photographic films, glass
fibers, and to formulate adhesives, coatings, paper coatings, pesticides,
metal bath quenching liquids, inks, and more.
