Beverage packaging a tingle and kick from the can Premier packaging provider to present innovative beverage containers for the new hip drinks at Brau Beviale to be held in November in Nuremberg.
New beverages which match the urban lifestyle culture only become real
fast sellers in the can. Ball Packaging Europe will be presenting three
successful examples alongside other innovations at this year's Brau Beviale
Rich Prosecco in the Ball Packaging Europe 200-ml aluminium can has been
celebrated as the new in-drink this summer in all hip magazines. Not least
thanks to the jet-set queen, Paris Hilton, who having been won over in
summer 2006 as advertising ambassador for the sparkling wine in the can,
made the innovative beverage popular at celebrity parties. The idea to
offer Prosecco
The first twin can world-wide has also been initially launched on the
Austrian and German markets this year - as an innovative container for
the new Conelly Cocktails. In the TwinCan, cocktails become convenience
products and are now even ideal for consumption on the move. The TwinCan
consists of two 150-ml cans, one for the mixture of spirits and one for
the fruit juices, and these are linked together by a plastic ring. The
fresh flavour of the fruit juices is retained longer because they are
kept separate from the alcohol. Preparation is delightfully simple and
takes just 30 seconds: First shake the cans, separate them and open them.
Then pour the mixture over ice, shake briefly and the cocktail is ready.
The advantage is the practical single-serve portions. It is no longer
necessary to purchase and store the individual ingredients.
A new cappuccino cocktail is focused on the Ball Packaging Europe can: "Cafe Kiss“ is a cappuccino drink with a lacing of vodka which was launched on the United Kingdom market in the 200-ml Slimline can in the spring of 2006. A capsule (widget) inside the can ensures the typical cappuccino froth head when the can is opened. The coffee cocktail is aimed at the 25 to 45 year-old group of consumers who know how to enjoy life and is currently on sale in selected bars and clubs and also from the British retail chains Tesco and Spar.
